The award is based on a survey of IT professionals who voted Nexenta as the company who has Contributed Most to Software Defined Storage Innovation, 2008-2013.
Respondents were asked: “Who do you believe contributed most to Software Defined Storage innovation during the last 5 years?” Nexenta was voted as the winner from among the seven answer choices as well as the opportunity to write in a vendor name. Respondents to the survey were solicited from over 1,000,000 members of 100+ online IT groups, and from the IT Brand Pulse IT pro/end user database.
