CineSport Launches Online, Mobile and Social Portal to Amplify Video Discovery

NEW YORK--()--CineSport, the largest online producer and distributor of custom sports video, is launching CineSport.com, a new multi-platform portal that showcases its original programming, plus the premium content produced with the leading reporters from its network of publishers.

CineSport.com is a portal for national and locally focused sports video that highlights content from CineSport’s partners including The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, Atlanta Journal Constitution and over 100 others to provide 360-degree sports video coverage from the most respected news sources from across the country. CineSport is also launching its social presence, aggressively distributing programming on Facebook and Twitter. Adding an online, mobile and social destination will give CineSport new powerful ways to drive traffic to its publishing partners while optimizing video SEO.

“The sports section of newspaper websites is the #1 choice for sports news and information,” says Gregg Wink, CEO and Founder of CineSport. “Through CineSport’s new multi-platform portal, we are committed to make video from our publishing partners easier to discover in order to continue the growth of their editorial voices.”

CineSport produces over 1,200 pieces of original content per month that feature the top sports reporters in the nation. Often embedded in reporters’ articles, these custom videos help CineSport publishers drive record traffic and engagement. Last month, CineSport generated 7 million unique viewers across its network (comScore Video Metrix September 2013). CineSport.com is another way for users to access this content and navigate to and from the publishers across all devices.

“There is great advertiser demand for a consistent flow of quality original sports video programming to drive consumer engagement. Our unique ability to cover sports from the local up, combined with web and social distribution channels, allows us to provide brands highly targeted content integration opportunities in real-time,” says Jordan Bick, Senior Vice President of Sales at CineSport. “CineSport.com is the final piece that brings our offering full circle.”

CineSport will use its proprietary VaMP publishing platform to deliver video regardless of device, dynamically embed video on CineSport.com and distribute it on social media. VaMP is used by CineSport’s publishing partners to place video on their sites, and the VaMP platform is a Cynposis Model D Award finalist for best digital video technology.
