ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intelligent Decisions (ID), Inc., a recognized leader in federal IT solutions, announced today that the company was awarded a new U.S. Army contract for the delivery of communications systems, technologies and services. ID was one of two small business set-asides among the twelve awardees. The Communications and Transmission Systems (CTS) contract vehicle is a firm-fixed-price, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract valued at $4.1 billion over a five-year period of performance.
The CTS contract will cover the full suite of communications including satellite, microwave, fiber optics, Over-The-Horizon, radio, and wireless, and will include all ancillary support services. Additionally, the contract provides an integrated approach that considers the life cycle of any given communications and/or transmissions system and its relationship with other communications and/or transmissions systems.
