The Magisto Chrome App functions more like traditional software with powerful functionality that works offline. For example, users can quickly process very large videos regardless of whether they are offline or online. The Magisto Chrome App was initially introduced to developers in May and today will be available to all consumers as the Chrome Web Store opens to a broader audience.

Although traditionally people think of consumers moving from web to mobile usage, Magisto has noticed an increased number of consumers accessing the service from their desktops. Currently, 25 percent of viewing and 20 percent of total downloads come from the Magisto website.
