Lambrecht Chevrolet Company Auction by VanDerBrink Auctions, LLC Goes Live Online on Proxibid

OMAHA, Neb.--()--Hundreds of cars owned by Lambrecht Chevrolet Company have rested in a field while others – many still with stickers in the windows and plastic covering the seats – have been locked in the original dealership for many years. All of them untouched and rarely seen, until now.

On Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 at 9:30 am daily, 500 vehicles will be offered in a live auction at the Lambrecht family farm in Pierce, NE, presented by VanDerBrink Auctions, LLC (www.vanderbrinkauctions.com), with live online bidding provided exclusively by Proxibid (www.proxibid.com) the world’s largest, most trusted online marketplace for buying and selling high-value and specialized assets. Preview the auction catalog and register to bid by visiting www.proxibid.com/vanderbrink. View the preview video here. Bidders can also preview the auction in person on Friday, September 27 8:30 am – 8:00 pm at the auction site.

“In the Midwest, there was an urban legend of a Nebraska Chevrolet Dealer who hid away new GM cars along with many trade-ins. There is truth to this legend, and the man behind it is Ray Lambrecht of Lambrecht Chevrolet Company,” said Yvette VanDerBrink of VanDerBrink Auctions. “Now is everyone’s chance to bid on and buy a piece of automotive history. Where else can you buy a new 1965 Chevrolet Impala in 2013? There is something for everyone at this auction, from newer survivor cars hidden away to project and parts cars along with NOS parts, books, and advertising.”

Classic car enthusiasts and collectors alike will not want to miss the opportunity to bid live online on featured items including:

  • Lot 15L: 1978 Chevrolet Indy Pace with only four miles still on MSO
  • Lot 3K: 1965 Impala 396 with twelve miles on MSO that runs and drives
  • Lot 11L: 1958 Chevrolet Cameo pickup on MSO with only 1.3 miles
  • Lot 12K: 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air four-door HT with two miles
  • Lot 1L: 1964 Chevrolet Impala two-door HT with four miles on MSO

Ray and Mildred Lambrecht were one of Nebraska’s premier Chevrolet Dealers. After storing away old inventory on the family’s farm for many years, these amazing vehicles will finally be made available to the public. Most cars range in condition from new cars to project cars to part cars.

“This is an auction for the ages,” said Jason Nielsen, Senior Vice President of Operations for Proxibid. “We are honored to have the opportunity to work with VanDerBrink Auctions and the Lambrecht family to ensure collectors have the opportunity to bid on these amazing vehicles from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.”
