ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bluefin Payment Systems, the leading provider of secure payment gateway technology to integrated software vendors (ISVs) and software as a service (SaaS) companies, announced a partnership with Commerce Science Corporation (CSC) to integrate their payment gateway, PayConexTM, into Commerce Science’s software platform, eStoreXpress.
eStoreXpress allows CSC customers to provide their members, franchisees, customers or dealers with a personalized online eStore where they can sell products and services to their clients, without purchasing or managing inventory, processing orders or having any IT support to operate the eStore.
Ranked the 6th fastest growing private company in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine in 2012, Bluefin Payment Systems focuses on enabling full-service payment solutions to software platforms offered by companies in a diverse range of verticals, including business management, health/fitness, medical, legal, transportation and more.
“We are thrilled to partner with Commerce Science because they are a recognized leader in providing companies with innovative web based ecommerce and supply chain solutions,” said John M. Perry, CEO of Bluefin Payment Systems. “And companies today want value-add features in their business management platforms. Bluefin provides the payment engine to power electronic payments for Commerce Science clients.”
Through CSC’s eStoreXpress application, many online eStores are connected to many vendors in a seamless online shopping experience. When the vendor receives the order, the product is picked, packed and shipped by the vendor directly to the consumer. The order packing slip is branded to identify the eStore it was ordered from as the shipper.
Through the partnership, Commerce Science will integrate Bluefin’s payment gateway into eStoreXpress, allowing any customer to quickly and easily process electronic payments directly within the eStoreXpress interface.
“Commerce Science is always working on how we can provide greater utility to our software and ultimately to our clients,” said Robert Helmer, CEO of Commerce Science. “Bluefin’s state of the art payment gateway offers all the benefits of electronic payments like credit and debit cards, but with security features such as tokenization and point-to-point encryption. The company’s commitment to high technology, high security and customer service made them a great fit for a partnership.”
Bluefin is partnered with over 100 software providers and serves 15,000 U.S. and Canadian merchants. Company CEO John Perry and SVP Ruston Miles are current featured innovators on PYMNTS.com.
