WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bank of Georgetown today announced the appointment of Kent Carstater to the position of Senior Vice President and Treasurer.
Mr. Carstater is a seasoned financial services industry executive with over 15 years of experience. He will assume responsibility for various financial management and capital markets initiatives at the bank.
Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Carstater was an investment banker for FBR Capital Markets and Co., Stifel Nicolaus Weisel, and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. During his investment banking tenure he completed over $11 billion of capital markets and M&A transactions for community and regional banks.

Mr. Carstater earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
