CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Michael Pontrelli has joined the Company as a managing director in the Huron Legal practice.

Pontrelli is an expert in helping clients navigate the entire electronic discovery process related to complex litigation and government investigations. At Huron Legal, he will work with clients on information management challenges ranging from proactive records management to collection, processing, hosting, review and production of large amounts of data.
Prior to joining Huron Legal, Pontrelli worked at LexisNexis Applied Discovery where he served as senior director of business development for e-discovery services. Pontrelli also practiced law early in his career at the San Francisco office of The Goldman Law Firm, where he focused on medical malpractice defense and business litigation.
