Hospitals, Healthcare Providers to Benefit from New Premier Agreements for Operating Room Accessory Products

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--The Premier healthcare alliance today announced new agreements for operating room accessory products have been awarded to Cardinal Health of McGaw Park, Ill.; Covidien of Mansfield, Mass.; DeRoyal Industries Inc. of Powell, Tenn.; Medline Industries Inc. of Mundelein, Ill.; and OP-marks Inc., a women-owned business, of Bogart, Ga.

Additionally, two agreements for operating room accessory products were awarded to Premier SEEDS™ suppliers:

  • Mectra Labs Inc., a minority-owned business, of Bloomfield, Ind.; and
  • Viscot Medical LLC, a veteran-owned business, of East Hanover, N.J.

SEEDS – Sourcing Education and Enrichment for Diverse and Small Suppliers – is Premier’s supplier diversity program that aims to increase the number of minority-, women-, veteran-owned and small business enterprises doing business with alliance members.

Effective August 1, 2012, the agreements are available to acute care and continuum of care members of Premier.
