Elan Financial Services Launches New Credit Card Program for Financial-Services Firm Edward Jones

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Elan Financial Services, one of America’s largest payment card providers for financial institutions and a unit of U.S. Bancorp, has partnered with financial-services firm Edward Jones to offer a suite of Edward Jones MasterCard® personal and business credit card products and services to the firm's nearly 7 million clients.

“We’re very pleased that Edward Jones selected Elan Financial Services to provide credit card servicing and support for their clients,” said Pamela Joseph, vice chairman and head of U.S. Bancorp Payment Services. “Our best in class servicing and reward card products complement and enhance Edward Jones’ commitment to providing high quality financial services for their clients in order to help them achieve their goals.”

Edward Jones MasterCard cardholders earn valuable Loyalty Points™ for net dollars spent that can be redeemed for travel, merchandise, gift cards, charitable donations or ChoiceInvest™. Cardholders also have access to MasterCard benefits which include a 24-hour concierge service, fraud protection, travel accident insurance and easy cash access.

"Our partnership with Elan allows our financial advisors to more deeply serve our clients by offering three distinct credit card options, which can be tailored to specific spending preferences," said Kirk Leonard, Edward Jones principal responsible for banking solutions. "It's another way we can provide our clients with the personalized service and customized programs they've come to expect with Edward Jones."

Current Edward Jones cardholders are being converted to the new program throughout June and July.
