LONDON & COLOGNE, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NDS and ServusTV, the TV channel for ‘better television” run by Red Bull Media House in the German-speaking countries, will showcase the integration of new streaming content services on Tele Columbus interactive set-top boxes from June 12 to 14 at ANGA Cable in Cologne. The interactive content offering from ServusTV will be demonstrated at the NDS stand B16 in Hall 10.2.
The ANGA Cable showcase provides two examples of the flexible integration of new IP-delivered services enabled by NDS technologies. The ServusTV branded applications include a streaming channel offering dedicated video content from Terra Mater, a world-class documentary series; the second service demonstrates how content from an internationally sought-after event like Red Bull Stratos can be grouped and offered to the audience with the click of one button.
Tele Columbus is currently testing an interactive TV portal to make supplementary content and services such as the ServusTV showcase available to subscribers. The service is delivered over broadband to Tele Columbus’ hybrid IP enabled HDTV set-top boxes. The ANGA Cable showcase from NDS and ServusTV demonstrates the flexibility for content partners and operators alike to add such new services, helping to build the user experience by providing more choice and flexible on-demand consumption.
