MUNICH--()--The 2012 D-A-CH Financial Information Conference gathered for a second time decision-makers, solution providers and experts from the financial services industry. The conference offered many lectures and presentations providing a great opportunity to learn how finance professionals from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein are dealing with current issues. There were more than 720 national and international participants, which contributed to making the conference a great success.

The various panel discussions were moderated by renowned names from the financial industry. Among other topics participants had a chance to see Uto Baader and Robert Halver from Baader Bank, Michael Krautzberger from BlackRock Asset Management in Germany, Peter E. Huber from Star Capital AG and Thorsten Weinelt from UniCredit discuss and provide valuable insights on the topic “Landslide: Rise and fall in the investment in government debt and the consequences for the investment industry.” With more than 30 exhibitors, the event provided an interesting overview of applications and solutions in the financial information industry.

“We were very pleased that we managed to build on the success from last year and were able to welcome even more visitors and exhibitors. This shows us that by combining a conference with an exhibition fair has helped fill a gap in the market and can strengthen the position of Munich as a financial capital”, said Dr. Alexis Eisenhofer, Managing Director of financial.com AG.

The DKF 2013 will be held again in Munich, the home of institutional investors with more than EUR 2 billion of investment assets. In addition, the Bavarian capital is the geographical center of the banking capitals Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich.

The event, which is organized by Screen Markets, financial.com and IDS GmbH - Analysis and Reporting Services, serves as a conference and an exhibition. This makes it possible for exhibitors and visitors to get an overview of the latest products, technologies and solutions, and participate in an informative and innovative conference program.
