The City of Philadelphia Signs Technology Services Contract with Intermedix

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--()--Intermedix Corporation announced today the signing of a technology and services contract with the City of Philadelphia. Under the contract, Intermedix will provide a comprehensive technology and business services solution for the City’s Fire Department. Intermedix will provide ambulance billing and collections services and will implement its Fleeteyes™ fleet management system along with its TripTix® electronic patient care reporting solution. In addition, Intermedix will integrate with the City’s existing mobile data software and records management systems.

The City of Philadelphia Fire Department’s (PFD) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a municipal-based public health and safety service that delivers and manages the 9-1-1 ambulance services for residents and visitors of the City. PFD EMS performs approximately 158,000 emergency medical transports per year and receives more than 250,000 requests for service, making it one of the busiest Fire / EMS agencies in the country. The PFD Emergency Medical Services:

  • Employs over 1,700 EMT’s and Paramedics
