Gain® Partners with Comedian and Actress Wanda Sykes and Introduces New “Scenthropologist” to Celebrate Anything but OrdinaryTM Scents

CINCINNATI--()--Gain® has enlisted the help of comedian and actress, Wanda Sykes as well as Gain’s resident “Scenthropologist,” Tim Hittle, to spread the word about the vast and unique variety of Gain detergent and fabric softener scents. Everyone has different scent preferences, scent memories and even experience scents in very different ways. Wanda and Tim both share the common belief with Gain that to embrace individuality and express to the world the people we are, it’s important to have a variety of choices available to us.

Recognizing how important scent variety is, Wanda Sykes will help Gain showcase its portfolio of 13 amazing scents and how our individual scent preferences are part of what makes each one of us unique. Wanda is a perfect choice because in her heart she is anything-but-ordinary and not afraid to be herself, just like Gain fans. As of November, Wanda will lend her one-of-a-kind voice to Gain’s new television ads airing nationally. The ads highlight diverse characters, with varied backgrounds and interests in celebration of Gain’s world of scent choices that are as unique as they are.

“Not many people know this but I’m a person who loves scent and needs to be surrounded by my favorite ones,” says Wanda Sykes. “I’m excited to work with Gain because they are celebrating what makes this world so beautiful and diverse, and doing it by helping people find the things that help them express who they are, like their signature scent.”

In continued celebration of scent and to thank the Gain fans who are as passionate about scent as Gain is, Gain will for the first time ever share its resident scent expert, Tim Hittle, otherwise know as the Gain “Scenthropologist” with fans and scent-enthusiasts everywhere. Tim works in the Gain Research & Development department and has played an integral role in helping to create many of the scents that Gain offers today. He is an expert in the field with 16 years of experience sniffing out scents that would appeal to people with all different types of scent preferences. Tim will make appearances on Gain’s Facebook page to share scent tips and advice so make sure to keep an eye out for him!
