American Scientific Resources Announces Additional Purchase Order Shipment to Israel

BOCA RATON, Fla.--()--American Scientific Resources, Incorporated (the “Company”) (OTCBB: ASFX) announced that it is today shipping another order of KidzMed VeraTemp non-contact thermometers to Israel. The order for approximately 500 KidzMed VeraTemp thermometers is the third order from Shaag Medical Group. “We initially worked with Shaag because of its strong position in the Israeli medical supply field, but it has proven to have links to the retail segment as well,” says Marc Massoglia, Senior Vice President of Sales of the Company. The KidzMed VeraTemp thermometer uses advanced thermometry technology to instantly measure an individual’s temperature simply by pointing the device at the individual’s forehead and touching a button. By being non-contact, the KidzMed VeraTemp thermometers provide instant measurement without wasteful or costly probe covers.

“In addition to this order of the retail version of the thermometers, we have received significant indications that the VeraTemp+, the professional version of the thermometers, is being accepted in Israeli clinical healthcare markets,” states Mr. Massoglia. “Shaag has met their contractual volume commitment for this year, but has shown indications that more orders may follow this year.” Eyal Greenbaum, CEO of Shaag Medical Group, states, “I believe that the VeraTemp thermometers will sell well in Israel."
