BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kirchmeyer & Associates, Inc., a national appraisal, database and real estate appraisal consulting company, announced today that Bill Waltenbaugh has joined the company as chief appraiser. Waltenbaugh is a certified appraiser with more than 20 years of appraisal experience and holds an SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute. In his new role, Waltenbaugh will provide expert knowledge and leadership to Kirchmeyer’s appraisal operations companywide. In addition to maintaining the highest level of appraisal quality, Waltenbaugh will interact directly with lending clients to ensure excellent service and satisfaction with each appraisal report.
Prior to joining Kirchmeyer & Associates, Inc., Waltenbaugh was chief appraiser for San Diego-CA based, AppraiserLoft, a nationwide appraisal management company (AMC). As chief appraiser, Waltenbaugh created quality control processes to produce quality appraisal reports for clients. He began his appraisal career at Durbin & Associates, Inc. in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas handling specialized valuation services such as: relocation, review, REO and forensic assignments. While there, Waltenbaugh experienced many changes that have occurred in the appraisal industry, from the advent of licensing to the implementation of HVCC, which have significantly reshaped the appraisal landscape.
Waltenbaugh graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and held the position of zoning administrator for the city of Anderson, Indiana. In this capacity, he became interested in the appraisal business by assisting local appraisers with specific zoning questions and concerns.
