The latest release of Team Developer, version 6.0, creates interactive Web and Desktop applications that leverage WPF controls and Extensible Application Modeling Language (XAML) customization to deliver an engaging, interactive application experience.
Team Developer 6.0 utilizes XAML customization to modify the look and feel of applications in every detail. Designers can quickly and easily introduce a new GUI theme to a single set of controls within an application or update the look and feel of the entire application, all without touching the application source code. Modern new design themes can be applied to applications. For example, a simple progress bar can be transformed into a dashboard speedometer with 2-D or 3-D graphics, animations and styles. Using XAML, Team Developer makes it easy to create local language versions of applications and include Flash-like animations.
A number of WPF gauge controls included with Team Developer 6.0 give developers the ability to create dashboard-like screens that summarize statistics such as quarterly sales figures. Third-party WPF controls are also supported including commercially-available controls like Advanced Scheduler for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and advanced business graphing to visually display important figures as well as open-source controls such as Google Maps.
