MEDICINE HAT, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Animal Food Bank Foundation (AFB) is honoured to have the amazing Jann Arden create a design for a limited-edition merch line, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Foundation. All proceeds from the sales of these hoodies and shirts will go towards feeding and providing supplies to pets in need. Without operational funding, AFB is reliant on volunteers and donations from the community to feed pets in need. Having supplied close to 2.5 million meals in the last three and a half years, AFB is committed to ensure happy, loved pets can stay with their humans.
Through operation of our own pet food banks we have completed over 11,000 deliveries of pet food and supplies. We have donated over 500,000 lbs of pet food to sister organisations including providing pet food and supplies to wildfire evacuees, the need for our services is great. Because of pet food bank services, 66% of our clients no longer have to choose between feeding themselves and their pets, and 56% have not had to surrender a pet to a shelter due to lack of resources to support the pet.
