JENKS, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gateway First Bank announced today that Allen Winmill, CPA, MPA, has joined as the Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, Winmill will be responsible for corporate accounting, technical accounting standards implementation, regulatory reporting, tax preparation and filing, and accounts payable.
“Allen has been working with Gateway since mid-July as our Interim Chief Accounting Officer and has been a great resource and complement to our Accounting team,” said Nick Hahn, Chief Financial Officer of Gateway. “He is a great addition to our Dallas corporate office.”
Winmill has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and the financial services industry and has held senior leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies during this time. He specializes in complex accounting issues, including derivatives, consolidations, securitizations, and business combinations. He also has experience in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes, which can deliver substantial value and savings to companies.

Winmill is a CPA licensed in the state of Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a master’s in professional accounting (MPA) and from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a BSBA majoring in accounting.
