HealthSTAR Communications Announces Leadership Changes

MAHWAH, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthSTAR Communications, a leading independent healthcare communications network, announces Bryan Fuerst has been elevated to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Current CFO, Ken Dutcher, will transition to a membership position on the HealthSTAR Board of Directors effective immediately.

I look forward to working with him in his new capacity.” In his new role, Mr. Fuerst will be responsible for all aspects of HealthSTAR’s financial strategy and short and long-term performance and will report directly to CEO Mark Fleischer and will continue to be a member of the HealthSTAR Operating Committee.

Mr. Fuerst has been a part of HealthSTAR since its inception and has held various roles within the organization including Corporate Controller, Director of Financial & Systems Integrations and most recently, Senior Vice President, Finance and Assistant Treasurer. Prior to his tenure at HealthSTAR, Mr. Fuerst spent several years at the institutional trading firm, Cantor Fitzgerald where he held numerous roles including Global Compensation Controller based in both New York and the United Kingdom as well as Vice President of Finance and Managing Director of several Cantor subsidiaries. Mr. Fuerst also spent a year leading the Finance portion of the team at Cantor that was responsible for the IPO of their proprietary trading platform, eSpeed. He also has held roles in designing and implementing financial systems for Fortune 500 Companies in partnership with Oracle Hyperion.
