ASG Technologies Announces TMON ONE to Modernize Management of Hybrid IT Infrastructure Health

New solution empowers organizations to reimagine systems performance and capacity management, from mainframe to cloud

NAPLES, Fla.--()--ASG Technologies, a Rocket company and leading provider of solutions for the information-powered enterprise, today announced TMON ONE. This new product brand will bring together ASG’s mainframe and distributed performance and capacity management solutions, ASG-TMON and ASG-TMON PA, to enable modern enterprise hybrid IT infrastructure optimization.

According to Statista, by 2020, 82% of enterprises had adopted hybrid cloud, with that adoption expected to grow drastically throughout the 2020s. With this broadening adoption, it is critical that enterprises have a single, streamlined way to manage performance and capacity across all platforms. With TMON ONE, enterprises can break through siloes that limit visibility into performance and capacity data, enabling them to modernize and optimize processes and make better, faster data-driven decisions to drive innovation.

TMON ONE will deliver cross-platform, enterprise-wide visibility using TMON ONE Analytics Infrastructure, a new architecture that feeds mainframe, distributed and cloud performance and capacity data through Apache Kafka into a common PostgreSQL data store. Initially, analytics tools like Splunk, Elastic and Datadog can access this data or subscribe directly to Apache Kafka to allow users to view the data in the formats most meaningful to their enterprise. ASG will release TMON ONE Analytics Infrastructure in Q4 2021.

“Today’s organizations operate across a complex mix of mainframe, distributed systems, and both public and private clouds. They’ve embraced hybrid and as a result made it time consuming and costly to have a clear understanding of their IT infrastructure health,” said Kyle McNabb, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing at ASG Technologies. “With TMON ONE, we’re accelerating our customers’ performance and capacity management modernization efforts and enabling them to take costs out of their operations.”

“Optimizing hybrid IT infrastructure performance and capacity, including mature on-premises systems like the mainframe, is critical to accelerating digital transformation and requires modernizing how organizations manage and monitor system health,” said Tim Grieser, Research VP, Enterprise System Management Software, IDC. “To advance in a digital economy prone to disruption, it’s important to equip I&O teams—especially next-gen staff—with modern solutions that enable visualizing data in new and creative ways through modern dashboards, helping drive faster data-driven decisions to optimize the infrastructure that is foundational to digital transformation.”
