Chef-owners of popular restaurants Toro, Coppa and Little Donkey partner with Alchemista to create bespoke dining experiences

BOSTON--()--Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer, the James Beard Award-winning executive chefs and partners at JK Food Group, today announced they are now offering custom-made, limited menus from their acclaimed restaurants -- Toro and Coppa -- to select Boston residents. Available to more than 10,000 people, meals are delivered to select residential property customers via a pilot partnership with Alchemista, the original premium curator of food, beverage and lifestyle brands. Alchemista’s on-demand modular marketplaces offer everything from temperature-controlled chef-prepared meals to unique sundries, snacks and more in residential buildings and offices.

“We’re always looking for new ways to create unique and special experiences for our diners, and right now, joining us for dinner at Toro or Coppa isn’t an option for everyone,” said Jamie Bissonnette. “Alchemista’s high-tech food lockers ensure our food is fresh and hot, and as a result, customers are getting their desired dinner experience, even at home.”

Entirely automated, sanitized with UV light that kills 99.9% of bacteria, Alchemista’s food lockers are both temperature controlled and contactless. Boston residents simply use the Alchemista app or a unique QR code to order and pay for their Toro and Coppa meals. All they have to do is pick up their food selection in the building lobby when they are ready - there’s no waiting for food in transit, wondering where or when it will arrive, no extra service delivery fees to pay or wrong orders to manage.

Alchemista’s partnership with JK Food Group lets Bissonnette and Oringer focus solely on creating delicious and custom menus, like wild mushroom risotto, paella, braised beef, hot chicken, Gambas and other inspired eats, and nothing else. The Alchemista team manages the entire process from food pickup, fulfillment and delivery, providing a luxurious end-to-end experience for residential properties that is simple, safe and accessible to everyone.
