Seasoned HR veteran in Portland, Oregon’s vibrant technology ecosystem poised to help guide Vesta in new era of growth

With more than 25 years of progressive experience as a strategic partner to enterprise, open source, SaaS, IT and product development organizations in the Portland area, Stepp provides deep expertise that can help shape Vesta’s culture as the company accelerates a new era of growth.

Stepp joins Vesta from Jama Software, where she was the vice president of people and workplace, developing high-performance culture, people practices and management. The lead strategic HR partner to Jama’s CEO and executive team, Stepp was integral to ensuring a positive, inclusive and unique employee experience. Previously, she served as the vice president of people and human resources with Puppet, a Portland-based enterprise IT software company, and played a key role in enabling rapid company growth and talent acquisition. Additionally, Stepp’s experience spans leadership and organization development roles with Intel, Nike and Mentor Graphics Corp.

Stepp earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Stanford University before going on to receive an MBA and Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is an accredited executive/leadership coach with a certificate in evidence-based coaching from Fielding Graduate University.
