GOLDEN, Colo.--()--Today, On Tap Credit Union® launched its annual holiday giving campaign by partnering with Ralston House Child Advocacy Center which helps child victims heal from abuse. The campaign kicks off on Thursday, November 14 and runs till Tuesday, December 31 with three ways to give. First, Members and Non-Members can donate in our branches, secondly online through the organization’s wish lists and lastly directly on Ralston House’s website.

When a donation is made in-branch you will receive two marbles, one is for you to drop in the marble glass bowl and the other is to give to someone to remind them to donate. Marbles are significant to Ralston House to visually show a child who visits one of their locations that they are not alone. On Tap will match a combined contribution amount of $1500 and all funds will go directly to Ralston House.

“Part of our mission at On Tap is to make a positive impact in the communities in which we live or serve. Ralston House is an example of a local cause that shares our mission and is committed to helping children in the community,” said On Tap Credit Union President and CEO Tracie Wilcox. “We love supporting local causes that are near and dear to our Members and local communities’ hearts and we’ll continue to support these organizations, like Ralston House, that do great work.”

In 2018, Ralston House conducted 1,289 forensic interviews for children and teens suspected of being abused or witnesses to violent crime. Ralston House Child Advocacy Center works with law enforcement, human services and the community to provide a safe place to investigate child abuse and ensure victim services for children who have been physically or sexually abused or witnessed violence. Ralston House provides education and outreach to prevent child abuse. Their mission is to stop the abuse and start the healing.

“Thank you to On Tap for their generous support of Ralston House in continuing to help us with our mission to stop the abuse and start the healing,” said Don Moseley, Ralston House Executive Director. “By giving back, On Tap enables Ralston House and other youth-serving agencies to help keep children safer and reinforces our efforts to do everything possible in the communities that we serve.”

On Tap’s two branches accepting in-person donations are located in Golden at 816 Washington Street or in Arvada at 5675 Olde Wadsworth Blvd. To find out more about how you can be a partner of ours, please visit our community page.
