SRI Quality System Registrar is pleased to announce that it has recently awarded an ISO 26000:2010 Certificate of Conformance to APLIX Inc., located in Charlotte, North Carolina for “The Social Responsibility practices related to the design and manufacture of hook and loop fasteners” for meeting the objectives of the standard.
ISO 26000:2010 is an international guidance document on how businesses can operate in a socially responsible way, and a certificate of conformance recognizes organizations that can link business objectives with operating effectiveness to meet the guidance principles of the standard. APLIX has demonstrated that it has met the objectives and intent of the international guidance through integration of the objectives with its business operations, top management’s commitment to its stakeholders, establishment of clear policies, good planning and implementation, effective resource management, efficient process control and continual improvement, and measurement and analysis against its Social Responsibility objectives.
