Home Bank and FHLB Dallas to Award $6K Grant to Louisiana Nonprofit

ST. MARTINVILLE, La.--()--Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $6,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to St. Teresa Center for the Works of Mercy, which provides free services to low-income individuals to help restore and foster their dignity. The grant will be used for operational expenses to initiate a new program for at-risk youth.

The media is encouraged to join local dignitaries and bank representatives at a check presentation at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at St. Teresa Center for the Works of Mercy at 305 Washington Street in St. Martinville.

The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions to contribute $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas matches at a 3:1 ratio.
