3650 REIT Appoints Bobby Geary Managing Director and Head of New Dallas Office

DALLAS--()--3650 REIT (“3650”), a balance-sheet lender focused on creating long-term relationships by originating, servicing and asset managing long- and short-term fixed-rate commercial real estate loans through maturity, is pleased to announce that commercial real estate finance veteran Bobby Geary has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of Southwest Region. In this role, Mr. Geary will lead 3650’s new Dallas office, which will serve as the cornerstone of the firm’s operations across the Southwest. He will report directly to Ken Dickey, Managing Partner and Head of Fixed Rate Lending.

Mr. Geary brings to 3650 approximately 20 years of experience, an intimate understanding of real estate markets, longstanding industry relationships and a track record of exceptional performance. Throughout the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Geary has originated more than $10 billion in loans across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. At 3650, Mr. Geary will leverage the firm’s differentiated lending process, national scale and vertically integrated platform to deliver tailored financing solutions, high-touch service and customer-focused outcomes across the Southwest.

Mr. Geary will work in close collaboration with 3650’s offices in Miami, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles to advance the firm’s strategic priorities. With in-house origination, servicing and asset-management capabilities, 3650 has been custom-built to ensure borrowers deal with a single point of contact throughout the lifecycle of their loan. This highly differentiated approach ensures an intimate knowledge of the asset and creates a close alignment of interests.

Before joining 3650, Mr. Geary served as Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, he held positions at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse. In these roles, Mr. Geary honed his skills across multiple debt, equity and servicing disciplines, providing him with an understanding of the borrower’s perspective and how to properly identify, assess and mitigate risk. Mr. Geary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Boulder.
