Eaton Names Margherita Adragna President, Vehicle Group, Europe, Middle East and Africa

TURIN, Italy--()--Power management company Eaton today announced Margherita (Maggi) Adragna has been named president, Vehicle Group, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Adragna will be responsible for leading all business activities for the EMEA region to support the organization’s financial, productivity and growth commitments.

“Maggi’s diverse experiences and broad leadership make her an excellent fit for her new role,” said Joao Faria, president, Eaton’s Vehicle Group. “I am confident her leadership and wealth of knowledge will drive growth, efficiency and productivity across the region.”

Adragna, who will be based in Torino, Italy, will report to Faria.

Adragna joins Eaton after an extensive 28-year career with General Electric, where she worked in numerous divisions and industries, such as oil and gas, and distributed power. She has held positions in various financial, functional and general management roles, including global head of Quality for GE Oil & Gas (now Baker Hughes, a GE company), senior general manager of Services for GE’s Distributed Power Business, strategic initiatives leader for Global Supply Chain and business leader of Heavy Wall Reactors and Heat Exchangers for GE Oil & Gas. Most recently, she served as senior general manager for GE Industrial Solutions’ Lifecycle Solutions business, where she led the transition into ABB. She has also served as chairperson of the European Association for the Promotion of Cogeneration (COGEN EU).

Adragna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Calif., and a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.
