BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eQHealth Solutions, a population health management company, has been selected to provide medical management technology and services to the Arkansas Department of Human Services, for the Division of Aging, Adult and Behavioral Health Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities Services and Division of Medical Services. The primary objective of the contract awarded will be for eQHealth to review prior authorization requests, conduct retrospective reviews, process and track independent assessment referrals, provide medical reviews and consultations related to long-term services and lastly, provide support for the developmental disability and behavior health clients.
Under this agreement, eQHealth will use its proprietary, cloud-based technology, eQSuite®, to effectively fulfill and execute the contracted services, which includes more specifically, prior authorization and retrospective reviews for an array of services including, but not limited to: speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, early intervention and adult development day treatments. Additionally, eQHealth will perform authorizations and reviews for non-waiver personal care for individuals 21 years of age and older, Medicaid behavioral health services and Applied Behavioral Health Analysis (ABA) through the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) program.
