LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California Fire Foundation and California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) will host a nationwide fundraiser on Tuesday, Dec. 18 to support firefighters and communities impacted by the recent fires in Northern and Southern California. Participating California Pizza Kitchen locations nationwide* will collect 20 percent of participating guests’ food and beverage purchases on this date to support the California Fire Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect. To participate, guests can present the fundraiser flyer or simply mention to their server that they are dining to support the California Fire Foundation.
“More than 11,000 families devastated by the recent wildfires received direct, immediate assistance from firefighters through the Foundation’s SAVE program, giving out more than $2.5M to victims of the recent fires,” said Brian K. Rice, chair of the California Fire Foundation. “We’re grateful for supporters like California Pizza Kitchen, whose generosity allows us to offer a hand up to those who have lost so much.”
