Pepperdine Graziadio Leaps 10 Spots in Bloomberg Businessweek Best Business Schools Ranking

Pepperdine Graziadio Online MBA Ranked No. 14 by Princeton Review

LOS ANGELES--()--The Pepperdine Graziadio Business School continues to increase its rankings, recently climbing to #65 on Bloomberg Businessweek’s list of Best Business Schools, a ten-point leap over last year’s position of 75.

“Considering there are nearly 2,000 business schools globally, to be ranked in the top 65 sends a clear message to high-achieving professionals that we are delivering positive outcomes, both on-site and online, for our students,” said Deryck J. van Rensburg, dean of the Graziadio Business School.

The Graziadio School also improved by one position to #14 Best Online MBA on the Princeton Review’s list of Best Business Schools, and claimed #7 on Princeton Review’s list of the “Greatest Resource for Minority Students” due to Graziadio’s diverse student body, supportive campus culture, and significant resources available for minority students.

“The Graziadio School is honored to be named a top business school by both Bloomberg Businessweek and the Princeton Review,” noted Van Rensburg. “The continued recognition as one of the country’s finest institutions for business education is driven in part by our core values of integrity and innovation, as well as our desire to shape leaders that drive meaningful, positive change in their global organizations and communities. We are committed to developing Best for the World Leaders who strive not just to be the best, but to do their best on every level.”

The Graziadio School was also recognized by the Princeton Review for enrolling competitive students who thrive in a fast-paced learning environment. Graziadio prides itself on preparing graduates to succeed in a rapidly evolving business landscape, and all of the Pepperdine Graziadio MBA programs provide a values-centered, collaborative, and experience-driven approach to developing students’ leadership skills. The full-time MBA program features a certificate in the award-winning Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible (SEER) Business Strategy program; provides an accelerated one-year program; and more than 40 international study abroad opportunities. The online MBA caters to working professionals with its flexible learning options, but is designed to embrace any student interested in experience-driven learning that can be immediately applied to real-world business situations.

Bloomberg Businessweek ranked 124 business schools around the world, 93 in the US, based on self-reported employment reports and surveys sent to graduating students, relatively recent alumni, and employers. Its ranking of full-time MBA programs is based on four indexes: compensation, networking, learning, and entrepreneurship.

The Princeton Review Best Online MBA rankings use a combination of factors including institutional and student survey data evaluating career outcomes, admissions selectivity, and academic rigor, among other topics. Its list of Top 25 Online MBA Programs incorporates student opinions that were collected through its online MBA student survey and institutional data reported by administrators at the business schools.
