SUNFLOWER, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Planters Bank & Trust and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $8,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Delta Grace to offset administrative and marketing expenses.
Local dignitaries will join bank representatives in awarding the funds at a check presentation at 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, at Delta Grace’s offices at 510 Sunflower Avenue in Sunflower, Mississippi. The media is encouraged to attend.
Delta Grace is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that matches mission teams with people in need of home repairs in the Sunflower area. The organization oversees, assists and provides mission teams with beds, showers, a kitchen and meeting facilities through the duration of each project.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions like Planters Bank & Trust to make a contribution of $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
