GULFPORT, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Foundation Gaming & Entertainment, LLC announced today it has completed the acquisition of the Fitz Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. The property is located on more than 50 acres and includes a 38,000-square foot casino, 500-room hotel, three restaurants and a 8,000-square foot event center.
The Company also announced that Donn Mitchell will be joining the Company as chief financial officer and Principal, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Mitchell has over 20 years of gaming industry experience, with most of that at senior corporate finance positions. He has extensive experience working with the Principals of the Company and played an integral role in completing this transaction.
