Award-winning Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch Open for 2018 Season Today

New Adventures, Accommodations and Exclusive Culinary Experiences to be Unveiled at the No. 1 Resort in the U.S. this Summer

SARATOGA, Wyo.--()--The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch, named the No. 1 Resort in the U.S. four years in a row by Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards and the Best Resort hotel in the Continental U.S. in the 2017 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, announced that it will open for the 2018 season today, May 17. This summer, the Lodge & Spa will be offering new activities, new culinary experiences and a spectacular new cabin residence accommodation, as well as serving up its popular annual summer events, the July 4th Independence Week Celebration and Cowgirl Up for the Cure. These new 2018 offerings combine to provide an unsurpassed luxury dude ranch vacation on 30,000 acres of pristine, Western landscape in the heart of Wyoming’s famed Platte River Valley.

“We are constantly working to enhance the guest experience at the Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch and for 2018 our new offerings include activities, culinary programming and a new cabin residence that is beyond compare,” said Michael Williams, COO and Executive Vice President of Brush Creek Ranch. “Those seeking to explore the pristine Rocky Mountains will love the full day ATV and Fly Fishing experience. The Homestead Cabin is the ideal luxury villa retreat for a summer family vacation or a multi-generational celebration and our new culinary education series adds yet another level of dining experience to our food & beverage program.”

New Accommodations

Having once served as the Lodge & Spa owner’s home, the new Homestead Cabin Residence is a luxurious 4,082 square foot, two-story hand-hewn log cabin offering the ultimate in private experiences on the ranch. Designed with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, the cabin also features a full kitchen and dining area; living area with wood burning fireplace; private outdoor kitchen, patio and hot tub; washer/dryer; and a stunning, rustic elegant design including vaulted ceilings. The Homestead Residence is located on its own private driveway next door to Stagecoach and Jo’s cabin residences and can be combined with these to create a private villa retreat for large families or a group of friends.

New Activities

Known for its endless array of activities for all ages, levels and abilities, the Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch has added a new all-day ATV and Fly Fishing Mountain Adventure to their programming this season. Guests will ride ATVs into the nearby, million-acre Medicine Bow National Forest to many remote and mostly inaccessible high mountain lakes and streams in pursuit of wild cutthroat, brook trout, rainbow trout, and grayling.

New Culinary Offerings

Launched last year, the Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch’s culinary focus includes use of the Brush Creek Ranch-raised Akaushi beef and other meats, dairy and fish procured from local vendors as well as produce direct from the Brush Creek Ranch Greenhouse. This year, the Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch is enhancing their food & beverage program with new, exclusive culinary experiences including:

  • Weekly sommelier-led afternoon wine tastings featuring an education-driven discussion of harder to find selections;
  • Weekly bartender-lead cocktail classes offering a sensory exploration through intermediate cocktail theory and introduction to modern mixology, ingredients, methods, garnishes and glassware;
  • Further expansion of the Ranch’s Reserve Wine program, allowing guests access to elevated selections in the wine cellar including several wines previously unavailable in Wyoming;
  • Private in-cabin chef dinners (in select units) curated by Brush Creek Ranch’s Executive Chef (a la carte);
  • Private four- or five-course private tasting menu dinners available in the Corriente private dining room in the Trailhead Lodge with wines paired with each course (a la carte);
  • Weekly private cooking classes available on request (a la carte).
