Open House on July 17 to Celebrate New CLSA Office Space and Events Center

SAN FRANCISCO & SAN DIEGO--()--California Life Sciences Association (CLSA), the trade association representing California’s life sciences sector, today announced the opening of an expanded office and events center in San Francisco, which is home to many of the top life sciences companies in the state.

CLSA invites current and prospective members to celebrate this expansion and network at a 3rd Anniversary and Open House on July 17th. Please RSVP here. “As CLSA celebrates the 3rd anniversary of our creation from the merger of BayBio and California Healthcare Institute (CHI) into a statewide trade association, we’re pleased to announce the expansion of our Bay Area operations with the unveiling of a new South San Francisco Office and Events Center,” said Sara Radcliffe, President & CEO, CLSA. “CLSA has nearly three decades of commitment and history of service to the Bay Area, and we’re proud to enhance our support for the life sciences sector by expanding our office and operations to better serve our growing membership base.”

According to the CLSA & PwC 2018 California Life Sciences Industry Report, the Bay Area generates most of California’s digital health and life sciences VC investment and has the highest life sciences employment rate in the state.

“The Bay Area’s life sciences companies produce many of the world’s most impactful new medicines and technologies, built on the region’s history of pioneering innovation, a supportive investment community and talented workforce,” said Radcliffe. “Our expansion fosters the success of the Bay Area’s ground-breaking life sciences companies by enabling us to provide more programs, public policy advocacy, strategic counsel, informational resources, networking opportunities, and other services. As the trade association representing the entire statewide ecosystem, we look forward to welcoming all life sciences professionals to our Open House on July 17.”
