CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Media are invited to attend United Way of Calgary and Area’s Annual General Meeting on April 25 at the Boyce Theatre. Following the fiduciary portion of the meeting, United Way will launch their exciting vision for the future which includes a new digital transformation focused on providing highly personalized experiences and a new Social Impact Lab.
Dubbed Our Way Forward, United Way’s 2018-2022 Strategic Plan proactively responds to a rapidly changing landscape that has significantly disrupted both the social services and not-for-profit sectors. It sets the organization’s trajectory to expand reach, inspire relationships, and deepen community impact in new and innovative ways.
Following a year-long research and engagement process that guided the development of Our Way Forward, United Way revamped its mission, vision, and value proposition to tell a powerful story of who they are, what they do, and why they do it.
