World-Wide Demand for Clean Water to Heal Children Aided by One ATTA Time

Annual Sponsorship Program Launched to Build Partnerships to Bring Healing to Children in El Salvador, Uganda, Vietnam and for U.S. Disaster Assistance

COSTA MESA, Calif.--()--The work of the Orange County based non-profit organization One ATTA Time is reaching across the world to help children and families with serious health issues due to lack of clean water. Poor water quality is the cause of many illnesses, with the annual loss of nearly 315,000 children under the age of five worldwide. ATTA is taking an instant solution, water filtration, to the corners of the world that are in desperate need.

Last year, ATTA distributed 3,000 filters in four countries and one unincorporated U.S. territory, including the U.S.A. (Houston disaster relief), Vietnam, El Salvador and Uganda. The filters helped 18,000 families, providing three trillion gallons of clean water. According to Executive Director Sean Kappauf they have built relationships with community leaders in these locations as partners and train those who will distribute water filters to the people with the greatest need in each community. Each Sawyer filter that they take will filter one million gallons of water and last 30 to 40 years, giving an entire generation access to clean water. This week, they are taking filters to be used by the isolated families in the flooded disaster areas of the north shore of the island of Kauai, Hawaii who are without potable water.

“There are so many stories of changed lives, children being healed and hope being instilled,” stated Sean Kappauf, Executive Director of ATTA. “One of the biggest impacts was being a part of both Houston and Puerto Rico in 2017. In both places we were able to help those most in need of access to clean drinking water just after the hurricane hit.”

The Annual Sponsorship Program was launched this week to engage companies, organizations and individuals to help make a difference. Annual Sponsors partner with ATTA in support of their mission to bring healing to children around the world and help provide the funding resources to transform suffering communities. Until now, ATTA has taken donations and will continue to do so, but the growing demand and extremely positive results with the health of the children whose lives they touch are taking the non-profit to a higher level of responsibility across the globe. Being a part of the ATTA community will allow Annual Sponsors to join a dedicated group of supporters who understand the importance of making a sustaining commitment to provide clean water for children around the world. Annual sponsorships are available at the $1,000; $5,000; $10,000; $25,000; $50,000; and $100,000 levels, each with varying benefits and types of recognition. Sponsorship dollars go directly to providing clean water. Each annual sponsorship is a one-year commitment that can be renewed or changed each year.
