They are also advancing their respective industries by reimagining how the security innovations can improve and transform our lives – not just in Taiwan, but globally.
The 2018 press conference highlights the Silicon Island’s evolution in the security industry, from its early prowess in hardware technology to creating some of today’s most cutting-edge AI, IoT, IoV and VR-based security innovations. They are exemplified by the four companies that will unveil the following at the Taiwan New Products Launch at ISC West:
1. EverFocus
Transforming the IoV experience, the XFleet
Management Platform is the future of vehicle fleet management. The new
solution locates/tracks vehicles anywhere, monitors events as they
happen on the road and makes it possible to look at footage for incident
review, thereby increasing fleet safety and security.
2. GeoVision
The VR 360° IP camera uses advanced computer
vision technology to simulate a three-dimensional, highly realistic, and
practical 3D space. It’s the only camera with two Fisheye lenses to
provide a floor to ceiling, 720° view around the camera with no blind
spots. It has industrial-grade specs and is water-proof, vandal-proof
and dust resistant, making it ideal for outdoors. It also boasts IR
Night Mode to ensure clear images even in dark environments.
The new facial recognition IP dome camera features cutting-edge AI. It can recognize human faces in 1.5 seconds, making possible identification of authorized versus un-authorized personnel, creation of blacklists for restricted personnel, and VIP lists to improve relationship management.
3. PLANET
The Intuitive Touch LCD Switch Solution features a
unique touch LCD interface, L2+ switching, intelligent PoE management
and ONVIF support function to help administrators easily manage the
powered devices in real time, thus greatly enhancing network management
efficiency. An Industrial flat-type touch LCD switch model is also
offered, making possible management of large-scale networks.
4. VIVOTEK
The first cybersecurity enhanced network cameras
in the IP surveillance industry, the new VIVOTEK cameras are armed with
Trend Micro’s anti-intrusion software, which can automatically detect
and prevent credential attacks and block suspicious events. These
cameras feature a new generation of night visibility technology, Supreme
Night Visibility II (SNV II). They incorporate carefully selected
quality optical components and sophisticated image signal processing
algorithms to reproduce high quality color images, even in very
low-light conditions.
