The Best Banks to Work For program was established in 2013 to honor financial institutions that are committed to investing in employees’ job satisfaction, career development, and personal growth. Determining the Best Banks to Work For is a two-step process. The first step involves an evaluation of participating companies’ policies, practices, and demographics. In the second step, employees complete a voluntary survey to assess their experiences and attitudes about their workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the survey, analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
Survey results discussed family atmosphere, community involvement, encouragement to have fun in the workplace, and employee feelings of being valued and appreciated. Reliant staff’s favorite activities include: celebrating special occasions like employee birthdays and anniversaries, supporting the Predators by wearing their Preds gear, and the Yay of the Day email recognizing an employee who has exceeded expectations with services, sales, or good deeds.
