MicroPact Launches entellitrak Certified Developer Program

Certified Java Engineers Have Proven Skills to Build and Deploy Robust, Scalable Applications With entellitrak

HERNDON, Va.--()--MicroPact, the global leader in Data-First™ case management and business process management (BPM) software, today announced the launch of its certification program for entellitrak® developers. The in-depth program validates that developers have the skills needed to develop applications on entellitrak, the company’s FedRAMPSM accredited, low-code application development platform for case management. The Java-based platform leverages open standards, open architecture, and platform-independence to provide superior extensibility, interoperability, and portability.

The entellitrak Certified Developer program is open to all Java developers, with tiered incentives for authorized MicroPact Global Alliance partners. The company piloted the program internally last November and is well on its way to certifying all in-house developers over the next few months.

“While any developer with Java experience can develop on entellitrak, certified developers are equipped with additional tools, techniques and hands-on experience to fast track their ability to build robust applications quickly,” said Mike Cerniglia, Chief Technology Officer of MicroPact. “By certifying their developers on entellitrak, our implementation partners are providing their developers and teams the technical foundation to deliver two key outcomes: profitable engagements and satisfied customers.”

Upon hire or becoming an authorized MicroPact Global Alliance partner, entellitrak developers must complete four days of instructor-led training, including a full day focused on how to extend the platform with APIs, components, and other plug-ins that are key to building applications quickly. The Certified Developer program picks up where this baseline training leaves off, culminating in the development of an entellitrak work product from scratch. Developers have 30 days to complete the certification after they enroll and the credential is valid for two years.

“Partners absolutely see the value in this formal certification. They appreciate the investment we’re making to ensure their developers can successfully deploy entellitrak solutions on par with our own developers,” said Barb Huelskamp, Vice President of Global Alliances for MicroPact.

The program is modeled on methodologies used by the Association for Talent Development in its certification development, including the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance program, which is the premier certification for corporate trainers. Currently MicroPact also offers an entellitrak Certified Administrator credential, for designated individuals who manage user roles and security for deployed applications.
