DES MOINES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One of the construction industry’s top publications has selected The Weitz Company General Manager Kimberly Davids as a Top Young Professional for 2018.
Engineering News-Record, a global publication focused on engineering and construction, announced the 20 Top Young Professionals in its Southwest region that covers Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. Earning this recognition automatically makes Davids eligible for ENR’s national Top 20 Under 40 program that will be announced in the second half of 2018.

A 16-year industry veteran who has been with The Weitz Company since 2015, Davids was selected based upon three primary criteria ENR uses for all its regional honorees: Industry experience and education; career and industry leadership; and community service and involvement.
Beyond her role leading Weitz’s Southwest Business Unit located in Phoenix, Davids is engaged with a number of industry organizations and regularly volunteers within the Greater Phoenix community. From an industry perspective, she is most involved with the Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA) in which she has served on multiple committees, volunteers as a training instructor and is currently the vice chair of the Leadership Development Forum Alumni Board. Community-wise, Davids’ two biggest contributions are to Support Sky Harbor Coalition’s neighborhood cleanup events and the Adopt-a-Senior program at Beatitudes Campus.
