SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Amerigroup is working to help Medicare-eligible Texans understand their 2018 health insurance options during the Annual Election Period (AEP) occurring now through December 7.

Representatives from Amerigroup will be onsite at H-E-B Pharmacies, a recently added pharmacy that accepts Amerivantage Medicare Advantage plans. Amerigroup representatives will be at locations listed below from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT on November 14, 16, 18, 21, 28, and 30.

Attendees are encouraged to think about what they like and don’t like about their current health insurance plans, as well as their health care needs for 2018. Do they have a chronic condition that requires seeing specialists, or taking medications, on a regular basis? Is there a specific plan benefit – dental, hearing or vision; fitness program; low or no copays, etc. – that they’d like to have in their 2018 health plan?
