Integreon Expands Financial Services Practice, Names Craig L. Smith as Practice Leader and Robert Daniel as Senior Director

NEW YORK--()--Integreon, a legal managed services provider for law firms and legal departments around the globe, has announced the expansion of its financial services practice with the addition of key senior-level executives. Craig Smith has been appointed as practice leader for the financial services practice, and Robert Daniel has been appointed as senior director.

Smith was recently managing director at Consilio and, previously, was managing director of Huron Consulting’s e-discovery practice with an emphasis on financial institutions and brokerage firms. Prior to joining Consilio and Huron Consulting Group, Smith was assistant general counsel for a large publicly held corporation focusing on securities and commercial litigation matters. Smith will spearhead Integreon’s increasing focus on financial services and drive the development of the sector’s Center of Excellence, assuming leadership on Integreon’s continuous efforts to enhance the client experience and product/services offering.

Daniel was recently senior director at Consilio and Huron. Most notably, Robert served in multiple senior leadership roles at Bank of America for 25 years in Corporate Audit and Legal. Robert provided key leadership in the development of the bank’s high profile regulatory investigations processes and structure, and the consolidation of multiple discovery related functions across the enterprise into the Litigation and Regulatory Department.

“We are thrilled to welcome Craig and Robert to the Integreon team. Their combined experience will enable Integreon to deliver a deeper level of expertise to our financial services clients and expand our focus on compliance, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and know-your-customer-based issues,” said Bob Rowe, CEO of Integreon. “Our newly expanded financial services practice enhances our capabilities in legal managed services, M&A support, discovery, and contract lifecycle management disciplines.”

Prior to these appointments, Integreon opened a new service delivery center in Charlotte, N.C., expanding the company’s U.S. footprint to address increased demand from both its law firm and corporate clients, with a significant uptick attributed to the financial services sector.

“Given our depth and breadth in the legal managed services and compliance sectors, the efficiencies and skill that Integreon can now provide our in-house corporate clients and engage law firms is unprecedented,” Smith said. “Our services are integral to our legal clients improving the productivity, depth and quality of their litigation efforts, compliance programs and investigation-related response efforts. This is indeed an exciting time to join Integreon.”
