Shared Access Announces Partnership with VenueNext to Expand Its Venue Technology Platform Across Europe to Enhance the Fan Experience at Venues and Stadiums

LONDON--()--Shared Access, an independent owner and operator of shared wireless infrastructure, and VenueNext, the industry leading venue technology platform company, have partnered to deliver the VenueNext platform in Europe at venues and stadiums to enhance the fan experience and deliver valuable data to improve business outcomes for owners. VenueNext, the leading platform for major league sports, has deployed their platform in 20 major venues in the U.S. Its platform provides venue owners the ability to understand who is visiting their venue, connects visitors to venue services via their smartphone, and provides valuable data to owners that can increase sales and improve business efficiencies.

“VenueNext has been looking to expand into the European market for over a year,” stated John Paul, Founder and CEO of VenueNext. “Finding the right partner who was able to build on the success we have had in the U.S. was critical – not just being able to develop and install the product, but also a partner with the financial capability to expand and support the solutions once installed.”

Shared Access works with site and venue owners, investing in the acquisition, design and installation of shared wireless communication infrastructure. This includes masts, stadiums, shopping centres, tunnels and airports.

“We see the opportunity to develop the European market in partnership with the innovation of VenueNext as a key strategic step, enabling us to provide revenue and profit improvement for our venue owner and mobile industry partners,” stated Chris Jackman, CEO of Shared Access.

Venue owners are on a constant mission to find new ways to encourage people to get off the couch and visit their venue, stay longer and increase spending. The VenueNext technology platform and customized mobile apps deliver a better user experience that puts control back to the visitor, while also enabling the venue owner to understand what their customers want and how to deliver it more cost effectively.

“Shared Access and VenueNext are delivering connectivity to fans and clubs that is essential to keep fans engaged, especially the growing youth market, which improves the overall user experience and also boosts revenues for clubs,” stated Ian Wright MBE, former Arsenal and England professional footballer.
