BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National Frappe Day is Saturday, October 7 and Joe Muggs Coffee Shops located in select Books-A-Million stores are celebrating by bringing a brand new flavor to its selection of frappes: Chocolate Cake Batter. It was voted No. 1 out of six choices as the fan favorite through a social media contest. Chocolate Cake Batter will be available for $1.07 exclusively on Saturday, October 7.
“For the third year in a row, Joe Muggs is celebrating National Frappe Day by offering a special price for everyone’s favorite frozen treat,” said Natalie Blankenship, Books-A-Million café buyer. “This year, we wanted to engage our customers and let their taste buds help us decide which new flavor should become part of the Joe Muggs’ menu!”
The National Frappe Day contest offered Books-A-Million associates the chance to brainstorm flavors that most satisfied their taste buds. After 650 submissions, PB&J, Chocolate Pumpkin Affogato, Banana Split, Mint Oreo, Chocolate Cake Batter and Coconut Mango were narrowed down as the top six favorites and then fans were given the chance to vote on the one that sounded most appetizing to them. Customers selected their favorite by liking the photo of their choice on the Joe Muggs Facebook page. Chocolate Cake Batter is now the new favorite frappe!
