Deluxe Corporation Premieres Season 2 of Small Business Revolution – Main Street Series, Opens Nominations for Next $500,000 Transformation

Acclaimed original series, streaming at SmallBusinessRevolution.org, shows how Deluxe marketing experts and Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec assisted Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, and its businesses

Public invited to nominate small towns for a chance to win next $500,000 revitalization and be featured in Season 3

SHOREVIEW, Minn.--()--Deluxe Corporation is debuting the second season of Small Business Revolution – Main Street, an online series that showcases the $500,000 revitalization of one small town, and how its business community overcomes common challenges facing small businesses across America.

The second season’s eight episodes chronicle the community of Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, which emerged as the winner from among 14,000 nominations. The episodes illustrate how the Deluxe team of small business marketing experts helped bring a $500,000 revitalization to local businesses. Deluxe once again enlisted entrepreneur and Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec, and with the stakes even higher for Season 2, also tapped a host of other experts to lend their business acumen.

The first two episodes are now streaming at SmallBusinessRevolution.org, and each of the remaining six episodes will be released on a weekly basis. They feature everything from a family-run auto shop to an edgy clothing boutique to a children’s education center. And now, the public is invited to nominate the town they believe should win the Small Business Revolution’s next $500,000 revitalization.

“After a successful first season, we knew that even bigger things were in store for Small Business Revolution – Main Street Season 2,” said Amanda Brinkman, Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Deluxe. “Ultimately, it is a validation of these businesses’ passion and hard work, and we encourage everyone to nominate the small town that they think deserves the next revitalization.”

Deluxe, a leading provider of small-business marketing and financial services, launched the Small Business Revolution – Main Street contest in 2016, and shared the inspiring story of Wabash, Indiana, in Season 1. The program received more than 14,000 nominations for Season 2, and after finalists were announced, nearly 1 million votes were cast, with Bristol Borough being named winner.

In each episode, Brinkman and Herjavec tackle marketing, business and personal issues facing small business owners and community leaders. The series captures the struggle to run a business in a small town and the triumph of a community coming together.

Bristol Borough is a beautiful and resilient town nestled on the picturesque shore of the Delaware River. Like so many small towns across America, it is regaining its identity after major manufacturing left, and small businesses are helping bring back jobs and the local economy.

“I continue to be so inspired by the passion of these small businesses and how they are working together with town leaders to create a thriving business community,” Herjavec said. “The second season of Small Business Revolution – Main Street offers even more actionable insights that are applicable to all types of small businesses.”

In 2015, in conjunction with its 100th anniversary, Deluxe created the Small Business Revolution to celebrate a century of providing marketing and other services to small businesses and financial institutions. The project started by telling 100 stories of small businesses throughout the country, and Deluxe produced a longer-form documentary film about the critical importance of small businesses to our economy. In 2016, Deluxe launched the Small Business Revolution – Main Street program to shine a spotlight on the importance of small businesses across America. Learn more at SmallBusinessRevolution.org.
