MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Benjamin Leon, Jr., Founder and Chairman of Leon Medical Centers, announced the donation of $500,000 worth of medical supplies which will be shipped to Puerto Rico later this week. This donation is part of an assistance initiative that Leon Medical Centers has undertaken on behalf of the people of Puerto Rico.

Leon Medical Centers is purchasing the items from a list that was compiled after conversations with government entities in both the United States and Puerto Rico and these items are expected to ship later this week.
