Leon Medical Centers Donating $500,000 Worth of Medical Supplies to Puerto Rico

MIAMI--()--Today Benjamin Leon, Jr., Founder and Chairman of Leon Medical Centers, announced the donation of $500,000 worth of medical supplies which will be shipped to Puerto Rico later this week. This donation is part of an assistance initiative that Leon Medical Centers has undertaken on behalf of the people of Puerto Rico.

“Today we all are from la 'Isla del Encanto,' Puerto Rico. The people of this beautiful island need to know that we care and that they are not alone,” stated Benjamin Leon, Jr.

Leon Medical Centers is purchasing the items from a list that was compiled after conversations with government entities in both the United States and Puerto Rico and these items are expected to ship later this week.

“We encourage our employees, our friends, neighbors and the community in general to join us in this worthwhile cause,” added Leon, Jr.
