Oracle Elevator Announces Tampa, FL Corporate Headquarters, Key Team Additions, and Acquisition of Florida State Elevator

Investment in new corporate headquarters, key hires, and acquisitions will support Oracle Elevator’s rapid growth

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Oracle Elevator (“Oracle” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the relocation of the Company’s corporate headquarters from Torrington, CT to Tampa, FL, as well as several key team additions. It is expected that the new office will open around October 1, 2017. Oracle’s President and CEO, Paul Belliveau, will be based out of the new headquarters. By bringing the corporate headquarters to Florida, Oracle’s largest market, the Company will be better able to support its field staff and customers. The new headquarters office will serve as the main operations center for its customer support team and corporate staff. Notably, Tampa’s own Jeffrey Vinik is an investor in Oracle and has provided valuable assistance helping the Company choose Tampa as its new home.

Tampa is the perfect location to locate Oracle’s headquarters,” said Sean Barrette, Oracle Elevator Board Director. “Florida is one of our largest markets and the vibrant and growing local economy will help us attract and retain the high quality talent that will be needed to support our continued growth.”

Further, Oracle is excited to announce the appointment of Kurt Meyer and Vong Keovongsa to the executive management team. Both individuals bring significant elevator industry expertise to the Company and have a strong track record of success working inside growth companies.

Kurt Meyer has joined Oracle as Chief Financial Officer and will be based in the new corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL. Kurt brings to Oracle extensive experience in the elevator industry. For the past 3 years, Kurt has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI), which employs over 900 employees within five divisions. In the prior 7 years, Kurt was the Chief Financial Officer of Minnesota Elevator, a manufacturer and service provider of elevator products and services.

Vong Keovongsa has joined Oracle as Vice President of Human Resources and will also be based in the new corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL. Vong joins Oracle with over 20 years of human resources and business operations experience. Vong oversaw all regional human resource operations for thyssenkrupp, which consisted of 50 branch locations and 3,500 employees.

Oracle is also pleased to announce that it has recently acquired Fort Lauderdale-based Florida State Elevator. This marks Oracle’s second acquisition in 2017 and eighteenth since the Company’s founding. Southern Florida is a very important market for the Company and this acquisition further demonstrates our commitment to the region. Further, we are pleased to welcome several new team members to Oracle Elevator whose contributions will be key to our commitment of providing high quality service. The Company has an active acquisition pipeline and we look forward to announcing additional transactions in the coming months.
