Double, Double, Toil & Trouble: Spreadshirt Announces Halloween Design Competition

Creatives Can Try Their Tricks & Treats to Showcase Designs for a Monetary Prize

BOSTON--()--Halloween is lurking right around the corner. This year, Spreadshirt, the self-expression e-commerce platform, announces the design contest ‘Horror’ for the Halloween season - asking all international designers to show their most creative and creepy designs for a global throw down for the best in class marketplace designs for Halloween 2017.

Bewitching and spooky entries will be accepted from now until October 11th by designers uploading their creations to the Spreadshirt Marketplace and tagging them with the keyword ‘horrorcontest’. Once submissions are closed, the Top 10 designs will be chosen by Spreadshirt. For phase two, global voters have the chance to cast their vote via Facebook between October 18th and October 24th. A couple of tricks to boost your chances: use words to tag your design like scary, bloody, or whatever best describes your design. As voting is international, use English for widespread understanding, share your original designs on social media channels for a buzz and remember to refrain from the use of copyright protected images like famous movie characters.

All creations are encouraged for submittals as designers always have the opportunity to earn money from marketplace designs. Even if designs are not picked as official winners, popular designs resonate with consumers and can be very lucrative. Of course, the winning design will be featured on all Spreadshirt channels, including Facebook and Instagram. The 1st place prize winner will earn $500. 2nd and 3rd place winners will also receive a monetary prize from Spreadshirt, respectively. A charming treat to fill the cauldrons of the most spirited creatives this halloween season that also comes with global bragging rights for the top 3 winners.
