MINNETONKA, Minn.--()--UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) has been named to the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI NA) and the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI W) for the 19th consecutive year.

UnitedHealth Group was recognized as among the leading companies worldwide for social responsibility, sound economic practices, environmental stewardship and consistently high financial performance that support business value over the long-term. The company scored in the 95th percentile in the Health Care Providers & Services Sector, ranking in the 90th percentile or above in individual categories such as corporate citizenship and philanthropy, partnerships towards sustainable health care, service to patients, operational eco-efficiency, environmental policy and management systems, and codes of business conduct.
